Commitments (You're accountable)

  • @Kontext - Watch out "his Daily Pushup Tally" in the comments.
  • @denlillaapan - Publishes weekly "Lazybones" and PROVES his hard Gym sessions with pics.
  • @Coinsreporter - Remains hugely under par on his weekly challenge.
  • @Undisciplined - saved his sats on Workit by walking 7.5k steps daily. (But, has Workit saved the sats #896408?)
  • @cryotosensei - posts his daily steps with proof. (Had 15000+ steps yesterday!)
  • @realBitcoinDog - The Daily Abs, however real but surely going downhill.
  • @Aardvark - Watch out in the comments for his prolific workout plan. *(He's an AARDVARK!)
  • @LibertasBR - He's on a weight loss mission. Can he cut it down this week as well?
  • @TheMorningStar - Has increased his pushups to 50 from 30 per day. What else?
  • @Public_N_M_E - Still nursing a rib injury. But provided first indication of recovery. Had hit the gym last day.
  • @Beeteesea - 97kg for you must be 6 feet at least, right? We keep waiting!
  • @Butterfinger - Hikes on a bike!
  • @suraz - Anything specific (to drink) for health in the mountains? (Still waiting your advice.)
As for my commitment, I've decreased my screen to > 6 hours on an average.
Now jump in the comments and let your fingers workout.
And as always... Stay Happy and Healthy.

Tonight is leg day. First time since I hurt my knee, so it's going to be light and easy.

What about hands and spine and other parts? You gonna skip them?

Sunday was back and biceps. Wednesday was chest shoulders and triceps. Tonight is legs. Every part of my body will have been worked out directly or indirectly. I use a lot of multi joint movements thst work out several muscles at the same time.
A lot of what i do requires grip strength, so that always gets worked out. Today I'll do RDLs and maybe good mornings or something similar. It will not only work my hamstrings and glutes, but also my lower back and spinal erectors

Alright. That's cool. It doesn't get boring this way. Do you still get same benifits as you'd get in the same workout for whole body say 4 days a week?
reply
I did full body 3x a week for a long time. It's actually better in my opinion if your doing only 3 days to do full body. I'm ramping up to 6 days, so imo PPL is better. It's all about maximizing your effort while getting 2 rest days rest between muscle groups.

Today is weigh-in day. Later I will do this and make a post about the progress, I hope I have reached my goal of minus 1 kilo. Regarding addictions, it is important to recognize that you have them and stay away from anything that can trigger them, coffee for smokers and cookies and frozen foods for those who cannot go without eating, for example.

Totally botched the fast yesterday. I think I had too little electrolyte intake during the day, which led to a neck cramp at night. So, I drank some water and had a snack.
I didn't even hit 5k on steps either.
Fortunately, I don't have much susceptibility to addictive behavior. My family has had plenty of addiction issues, so it seems I just got lucky. My understanding is that the best remedy for addiction is finding something meaningful to take the place of the habit.

I think instead of doing daily for a long period, you should attempt it once a week or twice a month.
I didn't even hit 5k on steps either.
@cryotosensei is running on top with his 17k plus steps in a single day. I see a challenger in you for this record of our club.

@gnilma's training for a marathon, so he's going to blow us both out of the water.
I prefer the daily fasting habit. It's a great lifestyle adjustment, but like most things, it's not going to be perfect.
I don't mind having a non-fasting day. The screwup was not eating right during the day.

Sensei is killing it though. I think I only comfortably beat 16k-17k steps on long run Sundays (31k last Sunday). I only hit about 17k-19k steps even on Tuesdays where I have a full work day plus a 10km run. Normally just 8k-9k steps on rest days.

You're both killing me

Well, I almost forgot about the marathon training! Records are fun they are always broken!!
The screwup was not eating right during the day.
Yes. That might be the cause. Still you should not over do anything.

I'm all about sustainability.

Your body isn't a product!
For five months, Jake Gyllenhaal undertook a daily routine of 2,000 sit ups, 200 push ups and squats, 100 pull ups and a six mile run for his role in Southpaw (2015). 🥊
Gets a result but doesn’t sound fun at all? Who would try this?
reply
Today is a bit messy. It was raining and we also had hailstorm enough to keep me going outdoor for running. So, It's indoor training today. And here's a pic of my bike from yesterday's training.
reply
Great! Did you buy it new? Also you made it to the fort?
reply
No, It's a second hand. I got a good offer in the neighbourhood.

I've had an addiction which I've overcome very recently. Can't go public about it!! ;)
