In time that percentage is changing. Right now it should be like 15-20% sats and the rest bitcoin. Only 40% in bitcoin is quite low level.
reply
Ahhh, I think it really depends on the person's BTC wallet. You are right in general over time it would change. 👍👍I Agree
reply
Yey! Today might be the first day where I can literally feed myself from what I stacked yesterday!
Depends a bit on my will power & what I find at the local market, of course, we will see :-)

I need to fundraise for a creative project and I'm drawing a blank. How do you all go about asking for money without just asking for money?

I assume by money you mean bitcoin? Have you tried Geyser?

Hey thanks for the recommendation. Geyser looks promising.

Good luck

Capital is a better word, I suppose. Bitcoin or otherwise.\n\nI have not tried Geyser. I'll look into it.

why not make use of your own means, it makes you truly creative.

Hey guys...what do you think about German goverment? They sold a lot of BTC, at the bottom...At least, I really think we are at the local bottom of this cycle right now!
I just hold all of my bags! The future is bright!

Germany is in a tough spot economically. Selling BTC is the least of their problems
reply
It may be the least, but it is still one of their problems.
reply
I think the German government has become a pretty reliable indicator of what not to do.
reply
Totally!
I met the son of a German general in Vietnam last year, he bailed and is now importing tooling for steel items from China to Germany, along with the steel used...
That says it all!

Good morning stackers.
I had too much to drink last night and went to bed without doing my push ups. My streak (146 days of 100 push ups per day) has ended just like that. At least we were drinking because of a celebration, so I could say it ended on a good cause. I will continue to do daily 100 push ups, but will probably not leave a daily comments here anymore now that I've ended my streak.
In other news, check out my weekly hiking post. This week we head to the Lighthouse Loop of Wild Pacific Trail, located at Ucluelet, BC, on Vancouver Island. It is another coastal trail featuring the Pacific Ocean.

One streak ends another one begins!! đŸ’Ș
reply
Well done. A tremendous streak.
I have also continued my pushups but no longer post after my streak ended.
reply
Like you said, all streaks eventually come to an end. But I really appreciate the work that was done each day, it definitely made me stronger.

Emotions are the enemy of truth

On the flipside, you can use emotions to achieve what you need, even when those emotions are not real.
At the end of the day, most truths we hear all day are just a point of view...

I am rereading “All Joy and No Fun”. I like this book so much that I tore out chapters to read on the bus. In addition, I interestingly find myself checking out online book reviews before I even finish the book.
The reason why I am writing this now is that I came across “quotidian” from two book reviews, which I was not familiar with. Looking it up, I found out that “quotidian” means “everyday”. It reminds me of the spelling rule “Q and U stick like glue”. Anyway, I am determined to use “quotidian” in my writing because I think it makes me look smart. It has a nice ring to it, don’t you think?
reply
I might give it a try. Thank you

played around with veracrypt last night, I used to find it a bit complicated, but it seems it just makes sense once you are ready - anyone would like to read a non-techie-friendly tutorial? 👀
reply
also it's the same like language learning, e.g., in Turkish, it is all about suffixes, the ending of the words; it basically has no fixed rules! it sort of goes with what sounds better...đŸ˜Č wow then it became really hard to learn, but the interesting thing is once your ear got enough inputs or when is ready, it just makes sense.
I assumed when we don't force ourselves into learning, the brain is still subconsciously learning, and maybe that's the best, learning yet not really "learning."

Expecting to see more of this kind of policy going forward. Storing one's wealth in bricks and mortar will become the risky, mediocre investment it always should have been.
reply
We’ll see if this policy comes in place or if it’s just another politician trying to get some votes.
reply
I do wonder if this will get past the courts

reply
Well, next elections to Barcelona Town Hall will be on 2027. I wonder what will happen then.
reply
Should get a lot of young, potentially left leaning, voters supporting it. But I can’t guess what will happen next week let alone in 3-years.
Other cities who could be watching and suffer similar issues; Lisbon, Milan, Venice. And Ibiza is terrible for local workers. Depends how much of the local economy truly benefits from services like rentbnb etc I guess
reply
It’s just a matter of time to find out. I guess that hotel owners are going to be really happy. Prices going up. Local economy receiving less tourists, less income. Not sure if they will be happy. Tourists will find another place to spend their time and money.
reply
Wow. That is next level
wonder if Ibiza could be next..
