Commitments (You're accountable)

  • @Undisciplined - Did 8.8k steps on a dry fast! Shout for that but it's not human-like.
  • @cryotosensei - He forgot to report random running but +12000 steps saves you this time. Be careful bect time.
  • @realBitcoinDog - Abs + Checking health of the territory.
  • @Aardvark - Can't be lazy for 2 straight days.
  • @LibertasBR - You're on a weight loss diet and Ice cream is an offense!! But fasting can get you a pardon.
  • @TheMorningStar - "Ran 2.5 kms, 32 push-ups, walked back 2.5 kms, 20 minutes meditation." Where are planks, lunges and squats??
  • @Public_N_M_E - He's nursing from an injury on the ribs so the club rebates him with one condition - he'll be twice accountable after he gets well. Get well soon mate!
  • @Beeteesea - 97kg for you must be 6 feet at least, right?
Sharing the Yoga video again
This yoga routine needs to be part of your life. Don't believe me, just do it for 7 days and see the improvement.
Now jump in the comments and let your fingers workout.....
And..as always...
Stay Happy and Healthy.
2.5 kms running, stretching, a few push-ups, walking back the same distance, meditation for 20minutes. That's it.

I do calisthenics + yoga daily. Plus some easy(ish) hikes, quick swims where/when I can. Good food, Sun, grounding. Short fasts (16-72h) from time to time.
The daily routine: Approx. 2-3h of a mixed calisthenics & yoga routine, kinda freestyling. Sometimes a separate yoga session as well. I do 120+ pushups a day (started with trying 100+ for 7 days, which wasn't that hard, so decided to keep going till I can - close to 500 days now ) Before that I was already doing yoga daily + calisthenics 2-3 times/week.
Regarding yoga I used to get a lot of inspiration from the Breathe & Flow channel on YT. For calisthenics Chris Heria has some good content for example.
Stay hard, Stackers! 🤠

Welcome to ~HealthAndFitness club. It's inspiring, a perfect workout routine + the choice of YT channel for Yoga is great.
Short fasts (16-72h) from time to time.
Now @Undisciplined has got a real Competition here.

I'm pretty sure we've talked about fasting before.
reply
So, you're on the same team. I was just planning for a fasting dual between you and @Kontext. ;)
reply
Not my thing. This is for health, not pride. (Plus, I know who would win)
reply
What a joke! It sounds like you're challenging him.
NICE my dude, that's a wonderful overview.
I've completely fallen off the #100pushups wagon... a half-decent day (like today) I manage 67. Ugh.
But did a full, intensive yoga session at our village studio today (5 sun A; 3 sun B; some standing flows)
reply
in fact ice cream was awesome, even if it was on a free day. Today we remain on the low calorie diet and doing well, protein chicken.
@Undisciplined How are you feeling? I found your routine pretty intense, and you seem very determined.
About Yoga, I've never practiced it, so is this video a good thing to start with?
reply
Yes, this yoga is for beginners. I can bet you won't regret it.
reply
I feel great. It's surprising to me how many of you think I'm doing something intense, when I'm really just procrastinating on eating and drinking.
I'm starting to finally see where the one-meal-a-day people are coming from. My body's adjusting to this pattern of eating and drinking a lot during a short window.

In this type of diet, won’t your body end up taking nutrients from your muscles first instead of your fat reserves? I’ve done something similar before, but with defined 14-hour intervals—I only had breakfast and lunch. I lost weight, and I remember feeling a bit stressed.
reply
That's not my understanding, but I'd love to hear more about that.
What I've come across, indicates that once you enter ketosis, your body consumes available fat cells. Even once you enter autophagy, your body goes after dead cells, miscellaneous debris, and fat cells before muscle and bone.

That's my understanding as well. You would need to fast for a veeery long time fir your body to start taking nutrients from your muscles

I had made an overnight plan of a long run, woke up early to only find it was raining cats and dogs and it's gone too chilly and windy outside.
Can I get club membership for my workout intentions?
reply
The laziest in the world blaming rain!! Intentions have no value, we need PoV.
reply
PTOOF OF WORK
reply
No we need PoV in workout as it was nonsense blaming rain for laziness.
There were only a few drops, not cats and dogs.
reply
How do u know? I want to check the weather where @Coinsreporter lives!!
reply
Search where the Taj Mahal is and then go 100kms NE to the banks of River Ganga.
do anything for 7 days and see improvement, HAHA.
I make a lazybones report at the end of the week, filled with failings and workout deets (#879357).
reply
67 is also a big big achievement. I've never done more than 10.
do anything
NOooo. Some of our glutton friends will tent up in front of a pizza shop and after a few days tell us the improvement. Haha.
reply
Well well, I guess the aim there is off.
They will see "improvement" but the things improved are not, you know, the right ones or even important!
reply
I am biking 3-4 times per week around 25-35km on hills, never been healthier.
reply
25-35 in a day ot it's the total?
reply
a day, in a week i do around 85km
reply
IM RELENTLESS
reply
Are you? I don't understand your daily "Abs" post. ;) Shate uour goals and daily workout here.
reply
So far no daily workout
Goal is to eat healthy!
reply
Well, you can tell what's healthy eating? I'm a vegetarian and non-veg is just unhealthy to me.
reply
Only 8k steps yesterday, but that's still enough to not lose my sats.
I only dry fasted for 15 hours, but I still haven't eaten, so we'll see how far I make it.
reply
Ah, I forgot to mention, I could only go dry fast about 9 hours. Had to end it for everyone in the house started making fun say "dry day, dry day" and even had a little pre Holi with summersible.
I'm thinking to apply points system for those who participate here. We can do like +1 point for goal achieved and -1 for being lazy. What do you say?
reply
I'm all for it.
You know that time asleep counts right?
reply
Haha! Time asleep doesn't count but quality sleep counts and only when you complete REM.
reply
Intermittent fasters generally do count time asleep. A 16 hour fast is the same as an 8 hour eating window.

Don't go memeing. You gotta tell us your daily workout goals. I know you live in the low pressure oxygen space but that is no excuse.
reply
Can so.
reply
Comeon mate! You gotta overcome it. Health is real wealth.
reply
Haha. It's a scheduled break.
reply
It's a scheduled break.
Haha! Verifies the laziness.

I'm starting my third day on a dry fast. No food, no water. My last one was 7-8 months ago. The second day was relatively tougher than usual, but manageable. I went early to bed yesterday, but woke up after 6-7 hours in the middle of the night, after a vivid dream. It's time to get up and make breakfast for my little one, he has half-term holiday, and is going to a football camp. Yesterday morning I made him toasts with manuka honey, and instinctively licked the knife, by mistake... 😂
