What? Could you explain that, please? I thought coffee was originally used in Africa.

nah! Turkish 👀

I thought coffee was originally used in Africa.

I'm not sure about the origin, but from what I read - Turkish coffee was brought from Yemen during the Ottoman time, then spread into Europe. @0xbitcoiner

I'm grateful for that... ;)

many things worked like this, e.g. tulip 🌷

Ah, I see what you mean. You're saying that the Greeks copied the way of making and drinking coffee, right?

reply

afaik the turks brought it to europe, the whole balkan peninsula drinks turkish coffee. don't know what's the matter with greeks, but i got once in a mini argument on sn over it. if you search for greek or turkish coffe, you get similar results

Greeks hate anything Turkish including Turkey 🇹🇷

I think no need to argue about the origins of certain things, especially many things are so mixed up in this part of the world. 👀 ( many "Turkish" things are actually the Turks learned form Persian or the East. )

why not get the best from everywhere and enjoy!

fun fact: the name Balkan comes from turkish, land of blood and honey

😂😂😂 good one
