I thought coffee was originally used in Africa.
I'm not sure about the origin, but from what I read - Turkish coffee was brought from Yemen during the Ottoman time, then spread into Europe. @0xbitcoiner

afaik the turks brought it to europe, the whole balkan peninsula drinks turkish coffee.
don't know what's the matter with greeks, but i got once in a mini argument on sn over it.

the best olive oil in the world comes from Istra region in Croatia, of course, small villages, old olive oil makers that don't compromise.
for honey the region doesn't matter that much, it's more important how the beekeeper works.
the turkish called it land of blood and honey because they tried for centuries to conquer it for it's natural resources but had a very hard time doing so
