Successfully migrated my Umbrel node from a Pi to a proper machine. Didn't have to close any channels either. Thanks to @nullcount for the guide. Only had one issue with RTL password but was able to figure it out.

The Pi served me well for 2 years but it was time to upgrade. Hopefully my uptime will improve. The Pi would lock up from time to time.

Hey Freaks,

Gotta setup my new comp for coding, but got distracted with NIX OS......I'm barely grasping the concept of reproducible builds and I have no experience with linux........but they don't call me TheWildHustle for nothing.

Just connected to Ocean.xyz, i'm looking forward to creating block templates with a start9 app and a future lightning integration.

In the end I'm not sure if I was hacked or just spooked, Although in the end it was a win because I added a bunch of security, wiped my computer (Bought a new one), and deleted my Yahoo just in case.......Now I'm looking to erase more of my online presence and whatnot.

Still need to finish the Nostr Dev course Need to start the 2nd Pleb Dev Course Need to figure this NIX OS stuff out

What a day gang!! Little Friday is going good a tad cool but sunny here in Playa. Hope your week has been going strong and productive, the weekend is just around the corner and christmas holidays just two weeks away. Because he’s virtue signalling. Pretending that he wants to represent the average pleb. When really he wants everyone inside his ID’d panopticon paying fees, subscriptions and using his app for payments ala WeChat.

Advertising model is dead. For businesses that earn 80% of their revenue that way, they will soon earn 20% or less. Retail sales are going to fall through the floor. They arguably already are.

Payments is the new business model. For that reason he doesn’t care about advertising. He is also using stronger language each time he talks, getting to believe he is for free speech. When forcing people to identify themselves, to deplatform or silent-censor later.

I don’t hate Elon, he has contributed a lot, but I far from trust someone that wishes to sit at the fore-front and control many different industry verticals all at the same time. He is driven by ego and adopting early trends, he is not driven by altruism IMHO.

I listened to the Breedlove interview with G Edward Griffin last night. The guy just turned 92 and he's still sharp as hell. I don't know if it's good genes or what, but I find it amazing. He's definitely worth listening to. Of course, his book The Creature from Jekyll Island is a great read.

I'm watching the vid, and wow, he's indeed really sharp - he must have done something right or done less of the wrong things. How can someone 92 and be like this while many are being so weak and barely take care of themselves around that age? quite interesting.

Some people are just born with an extra bit of oomph in their genes. I can only hope I'm reasonably sharp if I manage to reach such a milestone. But then again, living that long means you have to endure all the bullshit life has to throw at you before eating your cake.

apricot seed, and I would like to go to the Hunza Valley in Pakistan one day, to see how people eat in their daily life and is it really no one get cancer there, but then I guess maybe also have something to do with stress level, water and air quality.

I ate these for quite a while after putting dried Hunza apricots in my porridge in the mornings.

I thought I'd found a hack to get 'free' little almond-like nuts out of the kernel (they tasted quite almondy)

I later discovered that the almondy taste might be due to the amount of natural cyanide in them and stopped.

Then, months later, I had a senior moment and started to do it again - stopping for good this time.

Not sure if there is a health risk - just a heads up to all and sundry to do research before copying anyone - whether they're 92 or just frugal & dumb like me!

Keeping healthy is way more important than anyone can imagine.

Edit: I do have dozens of health problems - and I do mean dozens...

Thursday! We're getting to the end of the week. I need to clean my apartment to receive a bitcoiner from Turkey for a couple nights. And the Bitcoin for Beginners class is getting very real very quickly. We will have our first test of the project on December 10th.

I have one alarm at 5:45 the past 5 years. First year was tough, now I wake up on my own just before the alarm.

Honestly, I think the number one reason as to why I could even start to wake up at that hour, was motivation to do it. I'd argue most people just aren't motivated enough, or it's just not worth it to get up at an early hour. I don't know though.
