Howdy there, partner! Welcome on into the Stacker Saloon.
Saddle on up to a stool and spill the beans about your day, fire away with them questions, or let loose and give us the lowdown on your wild and woolly life. We're all ears, so don't hold back!
We're open round the clock, so mosey on in whenever you please!
i am very happy about Debian 12 but it seems the power consumption is significantly higher than windows 10 which is a deal breaker for me. in windows it was about 12 watt power consumption during medium work load but in debian 12 its at 20 watt. even when disabling cpu boost which i also do on windows, and switching the cpu governer to conservative :) sad. Back to windows

Hey @k00b and @ekzyis could we have a thing in notifications where it tells you not only how many sats you stacked that day, but also how many you spent? It could report both numbers in the same notification. I know you can compute it manually from your wallet, but that's a PITA, and seeing it laid out that way would be really interesting.

Guess which country is the biggest consumer of black tea? China? UK? No. Turkey is the biggest black tea consumer.
This is a Turkish tea glass. It is larger at the bottom and thinner at the middle. It has a special name which is "ince belli" (thin belly), attributed to woman body. The larger part fits in your palm and keeps you warm in cold weather. There should be always room left for holding the glass from the top after pouring the tea into the glass. This empty place is also known as lips share.

I spent all day reading technical documentation on Kubernetes, Helm and setting up a test cluster on Raspberry Pi. Quit my job recently in order to find work in Bitcoin and I'm gearing up for interviews! Looking forward to feeling like work energy is contributing to something valuable and necessary for the world.
While that's actually what I did today (and everyday for the last week), I really just came here to make my first post on StackerNews. Howdy, y'all :D

Yes. Very few sprouts out initially. It needs good sunlight and water. Also we gotta prune the top in a timely manner, as the plant/tree is very weak and one can't climb it to pick them well.

What about farming mangos? Lol. I just had to ask, because of your username.

Most people I've interacted with in the farming circle very well know things are fucked up with all what they are sourcing and everything that is coming top down. Very little resistance AFAIK. Little resistance that is there is either uncoordinated or controlled ops.

Woke up by myself at 10AM but only slept 4 hours.
I am dreading this day a little now. Maybe I should go and drink a coffee somewhere.
reply
4 or 5 hours for me was the max for years. I'd get tired mid afternoon every day. I started taking cbd before bed. It seems to work. I sleep longer, but it could just be psychological. I can convince myself of many things.

Does alcohol make you feel more awake?
reply
Quite the opposite to be honest. My body is not as young as it use to be and Im always tired. When I have a few too many drinks then the tired kicks in and then I just want to sleep.

sometimes, when typing on mobile, the dropdown shows up but then you continue typing but it doesn't disappear after a space.
oh, just happened here, too:
and sometimes, when you select a user, the user is put at the front instead of where the cursor is
