The Labyrinth of Time
This is some good education on that specifically. He goes overboard here for education purposes, but it gives you an idea of what you can do and what real comprehension means with regards to the law.
You're right - every jurisdiction is different, which is why I said to check your state laws. What I'm citing there is a Kentucky statute, not Kansas, and the deeds are dated, but obviously you could have two deeds done in the same day and run that risk, but that would be hard to do if you have actual possession of the property.
I'm putting this information out there so people are aware that there are alternatives. I agree you could use a trust, but the way specifically that I'm mentioning here also prevents property taxes being applied (although it's possible with a trust too). There are numerous ways to avoid those and people don't realize that they are really meant for government-created entities.
Thankfully people are fighting those in court now too, especially after learning of a case in Florida that was sealed.
You're right. There is some learning involved, but it can get fun when you see lawyers/judges recuse/retire for things that a Pro Se did.
You don't need a lawyer, friend. This stuff ain't hard, but pick your battles. Lower courts are a joke and you'll have to appeal to a REAL court many times. They also like to throw false judgments at you.
Listen to Rule Of Law radio to get an idea.
It is 100% legal to operate without those
BUT
Officers are trained otherwise and courts will enforce otherwise until you properly rebut it using their own statutes & case law in court motions/affidavits. It helps to look at the powers/duties of the officers/organization to see that they are COMMERCIAL officers, among other things.
They don't like losing their revenue.
Also this guy is a jackass and is wrong about many things.

Absolutely. What does he think is happening when Bitcoin goes up in USD terms? You're squeezing more and more value into a scarce denomination. i.e. the value of ONE BITCOIN will be forever increasing and can buy increasingly more "things"
Claiming that increasing the divisibility will inflate the currency would be like saying that if I have a gold bar (of which we know has a certain volume/density/USD value) and cut it in half, then I now have two gold bars of that same volume/density/value.
Imagine that USD value is the equivalent of density and it will make more sense.
