Lol who the fk made $ in 2022 😅
ya i was astonished to see how cheap refurbished, pretty powerful machines are right now. Not like it was the last time I bought a computer (10 years ago).
I think just like anything its possible to disagree with one of Bukele's acts as leader of their government and agree with another. Dont over complicate it.
A great feeling i had: linked my bitcoincore to sparrow wallet. Bought a hat from bitcoinhatguy...broadcasted the xaction from via my node and sparrow...then watched the transaction go into the mempool and get confirmed. Pretty wild feeling to xfer value between me and another person with no one in between.
I read a book by someone...cant rember his name in 2016...a nytimes journalist i think. i didnt buy then unfortunately but i really liked learning about it went through the whole history up to that point. Then i was reintroduced oct. 2021 by a social media influencer and unfortunately jumped in then...got into shitcoins too. O man things coulda been different if i just bought btc in 2016 😅 o well thats life i know the way now.
And when i ask the casino to make payments for me not even they know if it was me or some other patron of the casino ? I appreciate the replies everyone.
So i could mint totoro coin for my totoro market, people use sats to convert to totoro coin and trade goods all day in totoro market...and then convert their totoro coin at end of day back to sats when they want to exit. Is that right? Is it like a casino with chips essentially ?
No they arent...but people need to get a little more out of their comfort zone and not report $.18 of btc they received using like stacker news and fountain 🤣
Just make something optional for users to download that is cumbersome and tedious to read ( think like one xaction per page) so users can download it and throw it at an irs auditor if necessary. Crazy to me to think of people volunteering this info to the IRS though...
Thanks, that link didnt work but i was able to find more info with it. Still not understanding why do this instead of say a fedimint protocol that uses sats and provides privacy. Why mint your own ecash ? Thanks for the post and replies.
I love what is possible when someone is building without monetization on their mind. Disregards all the noise, docused on true disruption, this is the way. Keep it up loving Nostr so far.
