Thinking in a way of owned sats, instead of their dollar value, really makes things easier - especially for long term accumulation, where your number of sats grows even fastet in bear market!
Yeah, but who are we to tell speculators what they can do or not? This group of people will come everywhere they can smell fresh money and new objects to speculate - no matter if you like it or not.
BTC should be fine anyway - its actually not the first time when we have games played on chain, and it always had its end
Christmas are one of my irrational financial decisions every year, and I'm not ever letting it go! Those few days with family are definitely worth that effort, time and some sats stacked for a whole year
Its pure speculation, like a huge part of crypto market. This coming also to BTC chain seemed inevitable, but probably will be just a short-term trend - made by short term people for other short term people

Probably right guess! So you tell me it's not a thing for adults to move out in some parts of this world?
Now you made me thinking why you guessed it so fine, why exactly its happening here - it's more because of young people worldview, or parents not parenting right on a mass scale?(definitely a thing.)
Or maybe more because of 'relatively good' economics, where i mean if you have any job (plus manage your life reasonably) you can move out easily?
Idk man, really if you are living on your own for some time, then visiting parents feels like not enough space and privacy - it might be a part of just being adult!
Hmm, I think this might be true for some - because if someone had particular goals while getting into this market, like raising standards for family, and took BTC as alternative to traditional instruments, then taking some fiat while in profit seems rational.
Understanding different perspectives definitely should be a thing - especially if you talk with people who "overheld" in last cycle, woke up in bear market, got some extreme emotions and dont wanna wait another 3/4/5 years this time.
For me, I'm not doing anything, but can understand well those who want a small % of stack back to fiat - situations can be such different for different people
It's a lot to say, I had to unlearn a lot, like actually almost all of the things from my family home. Let me share a few that are coming to my mind:
- TV news are something worth to follow...
- So called "majority" of people is usually right (the biggest bullshit I think),
- Alcohol is okay if you do it it moderation; nope, not in my life. 2 years sober for me soon :)
- Stick to one job for as long as they want you hired... yeah, almost like my job preferences will never change?! And even if they refuse to pay more? Im a human not slave, thanks for this one
- Animals are not family members -> nah my kitty will never wear any mask and always is authentic y'know? I call it family and I'm convinced they have souls exactly like humans
Its actually insane how you can not learn anything and stay ignorant for years, even while being into space. I think there is too much spam from crypto influencers, and way too little valuable information. For me, starting to DCA in bear market required to actually reject all the internet noise, and having my own way that nobody seemed to share at the time of bad sentiment (and low prices)
I did some of that bullshit in 2017 bull run and also in 2021 one, so it taught me about 5 years to finally start DCA in 2022

Yeah, it feels like fake interactions are becoming more common around, and even normal for a lot of people - living just to fulfill their todays needs, not thinking too much about long-term relations at all. Lately I've been thinking about it too how much nobody cares anymore; its sad but really hard to change. Tiktok people seems to have their own world
Yes! We bitcoiners are small part of society, if you work in some office then most people are not interested in Bitcoin there in any way, regardless of age. And I think that its actually beautiful to be the only one around with this way of thinking - some still cant believe that you can "earn dollars" for this! :)
TON actually seems to have actual utility as crypto currency, so maybe it is not that much shitcoin?
It made me interested in fiat systems, and then made me doing huge research about all finance related things like printing and debt, which changed my lifestyle completely in about 2 years. So a lot of knowledge about (broken) money, how important accumulation and patience is, so it improved my saving money habit by a lot in general - it's really easier when your local currency inflation dont steal from you
