My brother in law has "great hands". I tell him all the time to pack in the bs carpentry job and make high end furniture and sell it for bitcoin.
I love craigslist. For about a decade I found nearly every apartment I lived in in New York on there. Met so many characters in the process.
Bought and sold a bunch of music equipment. When I left New York I pretty sold everything I owned on craigslist.
Dangers to avoid - every now and then a kinda weird person would turn up to my apartment to look at something I was selling. I always invited people in to look at whatever they are buying. I never had any issues, but I can imagine someone has at some point. So maybe best to have someone else around if you are worried about that. Maybe its best to bring shit to your front door instead of bringing them inside, I dunno.
I have a fond memory of buying a telecaster guitar off a teenager in Queens. Here I am not long arrived from Ireland to the big apple and this young asian kid is shredding on his guitar in his bedroom and I'm standing there beside his mother with 400 quid in my hand. Cash is king on craigslist. Never used bitty, but would consider it today.
At one point there was a very active section on CL called "missed connections" where folks would recount moments shared with subway crushes. It was one of the weirdest and best places on the internet to browse. We need more of that quirky fun stuff.
We have a good number of short clips on our YouTube channel demonstrating how to connect various wallet types, including on-chain and multisig setups.
Each release also gets a dedicated post on our blog, where we break down all the new and updated features. You can also find direct links to specific sections of blog posts in the features section on the blog homepage.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
Very interesting—cheers for these insights! Perhaps Clams could make your life easier?
You can connect all your wallets to calculate your cost basis per transaction and across all your holdings. We’ve just added a new export widget that includes a capital gains report, which might be useful for you.
More details are available in our FAQ.
We can’t help with managing fiat debts, but that’s definitely an interesting problem to solve.
Based.
Now take it up to 11 with a red light therapy special edition.

Yeah I definitely think it could be useful, but I too am wary of too much screen time. And also with AI dishing out information that is actually incorrect, happens all the time when I am using it.
We need Bitcoin parent pods!
If you prefer not to share your data with Koinly, check out Clams, where all your data stays on your device.
We recently introduced a "custom import" feature that lets you upload your Zeus transaction history—or data from any other wallet/exchange.
Clams will calculate the cost basis for your entire stack as well as individual transactions. Soon, you'll also be able to generate reports like capital gains.
Here’s a demo of how custom imports work:
My old room mate had a crappy flip phone up until about a year ago. He never had used google maps. He knew how to navigate cities as he would read about them before he visited. He is a real character.
But then in Nashville he could barely park his car without scanning some qr bullshit machine. That was the end for him. He now has smart phone.
Not in the near term, but perhaps down the line. Bullish on start9. We just added our Remote app to their community registry
worked in ethland. asked tough questions that people kept skipping around. bitcoiners i would meet would always welcomes tough questions. felt at home.
Excellent post. If it makes you feel any better I say it at all the time to my no-coiner friend in jest almost every day. He actually bought some corn only recently, but I still feel the need to say it to him for the lolz
