They've been teasing these devices for a few years now. They're finally available for preorder.

I can't wait to hear the reviews on this. The larger my stack gets the more time I inevitably spend looking into security solutions. Also it looks like the payment accepted is BTC, you love to see it.

Great news.

I have had my eye on these for quite a while now, but 150,000 sats seems a little steep for just a single device.

That would run you like $450 just for a two of three set up

Poorly marketed. I don't get it, neeeext

reply

What don't you get about it? Focused on building not marketing yet

Why is it in any way better than the best alternatives?

Best multisig UX, fully sovereign self-custody without third parties, non-trusted key generation verified by phone/laptop, superior multisig privacy and lower onchain fees, protection against nonce-based exfiltration attacks, simple T-of-N recovery with no descriptor footguns, fully open-source software.

You lost me at the first point: best multisig UX. Hands down Bitkey currently.

I could recommend it to my mum and she didn't need my help for set up! Impressive feat.

Really cool concept feels like a lightweight, minimalist frontier for Bitcoiners to share without the noise. The design is refreshingly clean, and I love how it leans into simplicity instead of trying to be yet another bloated social feed. Curious to see how this evolves. Will there be any sats integration down the line?
