No is not. Why would I use an email account linked to a BTC wallet? Is kind of dumb (maybe interesting for dumb people).
You have plenty of other apps, much better than this crap.

Thank you. I'll stick to Green Wallet and Electrum. I just thought to ask because Proton is trusted by everyone. I don’t know why they chose to link an email account with it they could have just kept it as a wallet. I only tried it out of curiosity.

Just because some people are using it for garbage /spam emails replacing gmail it doesn't mean it is "trusted".
NOTHING is trusted on internet if you do not have 100% control of it.
Run your own self hosted email server with your own domain and you really do not need any proton shit.
As a throw away email account is OK, but not for more....

By trust, I mean it is open source. I wouldn’t say it’s shit, though. Not everyone is tech savvy enough or can host their own domain. It's definitely still a lot better alternative than Gmail.
