News Of The Week

Welcome to the Books And Articles newsletter. Thanks for all of the quality posts.
@denlillaapan is still showing us all how it’s done, but we were treated to many good posts this week. @ek’s musings and @BTCLNAT’s report on a remote but growing bitcoin community are must reads. In order to prevent confusion with cowboy credits on sat splits, for the time being I will directly zap the top post around half the earned zaps from this post after twenty four hours.
Happy reading, and Happy New Year!
. As always, please reply with suggestions and opinions on how to make this territory better.

Siggy’s Suggestions

Check out this stacker’s recently published book. I haven’t had time to take a deep dive, but it looks intriguing from my quick look.
This little link post almost completely escaped my attention. I was a Bruce Lee fan as a kid, and I still remember the day his death was announced. Enjoy this great article.
I liked this poem. That’s it. Thanks, @suraz.

I am very happy and grateful that the post about the La IslaBTC community's journey down the Bitcoin rabbit hole is among the posts of the week. For me, this work of education has been rewarding. I hope that we can soon make a post about how a circular economy with Bitcoin is developing where this Bitcoin community is. This result also has to do with Stacker News and all of you stackers. Thank you.

Curious if there are any book clubs here where readers of a certain book gather every month/quarter to discuss ideas and concepts of a particular book?
reply
Yes, today's top post is a book club. There have been a few, with varying degrees of success. @elvismercury held a Lyn Alden Broken Money book club before we had territories. That one was fantastic. Feel free to try one here if you like.

Thank you for including @grayruby book review!

I mean @denlillaapan is great and all but did he review a classic bitcoin book like I did?
I think not.
reply
No, that lil monkey is a disappointment. Disgrace to all writers, really

I did really love Lyn's book Broken Money. I am a big fan of hers. Must have been a fun project for you to work on.
She did an AMA on SN 2.5 years ago but that was before my time and many of our times. Would be great if she would come on again.

Good point. You gave a shy, reclusive author a little attention.

Yeah that guy really needs to come out of his shell or he will never make it in this town.
