Possibly, but in the event that Singh doesn't withdraw his support, then Canada is looking at another 4 years of Liberal minority rule; NDP don't really stand a chance of winning, so what would Singh's incentive be?
Plus never under-estimate the allure of power!

There will be an election in October regardless of what the NDP does and the Conservatives will win a majority.

Yes remind yourself. Conservatives are currently projected to win 225 seats. They need 172 for a majority.
