Why is there no thread called "Family/Relations/Friends"? I want to post things about my girlfriend. About previous relationships. I want to share lessons, values, thoughts about my personal life. But where to put it? You would all benefit from my mistakes!

I'm single and I can say I have a decent life. I'm happy and that's what matters to me the most!

Also, the reason I don't have anyone or I'm single is that I have Aspergers and it's hard for me to understand a person and connect emotionally with them.

Also, how about you? How's your relationship going? Any advice for me?

I'm glad you can say you're living a decent life! That's the best I can say! The biggest mistake is to try to find one that is "complete" or to chase something. The only tip I can give is to be yourself, be honest and stick to your values. Don't change for anyone. If no one can be with you, then so be it. Then you are too good for this world and they don't deserve you.

I would say I have a wife and she's my life! So, I have both.

Also, mate if you're having any difficulties in your relationship do ask me anything! We have also faced a lot of problems, but got a hold of them through our strong bond!

Sure! Idk if you'll like them, but here is the entire list that helped me!

Don't do things that make you uncomfortable or go against your nature (especially if you want it to work-out in the long-run).
Choosing your battles and accepting your partner as they are...you fell in love with this person, don't try to change them.
ask how their day was, and wish them a good day.
Remember that you don't need to know every single detail of your SO's entire existence in order to be happy. There are some minor things you'd be happier not knowing.
Don't talk about past partners.
Do try to have a nice dinner at home.
Don't lie and sneak out to drink when you said you wouldn't.
Spend time with, care about, and listen to your partner
Have fun and try new things together ;)
Do listen to what the other person has to say and give them a chance to speak
