Was it the super strong version or a milder version.
One will put burns into your mouth and the other just tastes good.
Are you allergic to it? Or did you eat something that reacted to it?

Not that I know of.
Also, no clue about strength. Just a regular garlic from grocery store

I have no clue, either. Perhaps it was just a fluke.
Some garlic cloves are very different from others—-like very hot.
But, it sounds like you had nothing special.
I have no idea of what may have happened, it has never affected me that way.
