I’ve touched upon this subject in my subscription newsletter, but I had no plans to write anything more until I got a note from a friend, mentioning a particular investment analyst and his views on investing over the next few years. I had to agree that it was brilliant analysis, but at the same time I knew that I’d never do anything about it, because I simply can’t bring myself to put money into “the markets” anymore.

Me either. The market is totally driven by fed liquidity and passive flows. Unless you pick the next Nvidia you aren't likely to outperform money supply expansion.
Totally agree. Thank God for Bitcoin. We left the corrupt market. We no longer need their tools. Thank God for Bitcoin.
I haven't fully exited, but am about 75% of the way there. There are positions that I am still waiting to exit due to tax and other reasons.
The biggest drawback is that Both stocks and bonds are influenced by economic conditions, interest rates, and market trends, which can be unpredictable and beyond the investor's control
being a high intellectual in a field that promotes wrong-doing is an overall stupid behavior.

While yes going into the markets for pure financial gain and nothing else I can understand your logic but I feel like this approach is throwing the baby out with the bath water.
The major reason I pulled out of the markets ((401(k) mutual funds and index funds) is for two main reasons
But the more I think about companies who are doing good things and bringing products and services to better life here in this planet the more I want to invest in those companies. Thus I become more an ideological investor.
Almost any company that owns bitcoin on their balance sheet I want to own. Companies that are providing great products and services have great balance sheets and treat their employees well are the companies I want to buy and hold forever.
Energy companies, utilities companies, companies pushing the boundaries and exploring space. By giving them some of my capital they can continue to deliver to the market thus improving my life and those around me.
