3-3-3 rule. It’s designed to control anxiety and is effective for that but I have found it is also helpful to just change mindset. I use it a lot if I get frustrated doing a project or if I am losing my patience with my kids.
It essentially requires you to identify three things you can see, three things you can hear, and three ways you can move your body.
Once you distract yourself with this technique, you can do some deep breathing and refocus.
I have heard this rule for the first time. Please elaborate.
