The data from @truflation (X) speak a clear language: more disinflation on the way! This could give the Federal Reserve leeway to cut interest rates, not least because the labor market data in the private sector has also turned out to be terrible. Only the government is the last to create fake jobs in order to get over the finish line for the next election.

Well, we'll see if Kamala gets as much support as Jo had.

Honestly, I think she was stupid enough to put herself up as a pawn against Trump, who, if you look at the right polls and assessments of the betting agencies, for example, can no longer lose this election. The Democratic Party is already preparing for 2028

Yes, and they Kamala won't be fighting 2028 elections. They have some other big names to infect US politics!

How does truflation collect and calculate its inflation data? How does it compare to traditional measures like the Consumer Price Index (CPI)? thanks!

But isn't it unbelievable what kind of stone-age instruments state institutions work with, when today everything is immediately available digitally?

This is so old school. And about the number of items we're counting, I'm not sure if it's the best way to go. I don't have any real proof, but by adding tons of items, we might be adding stuff that nobody buys and messing up the average. I don't know, I'm just thinking out loud. What do you think?

We'll see. I'm not convinced they want Kamala to win anymore than they wanted Biden to.

if Powell doesn't lower interest rates, and he was brought into office by Donald Trump, then he is clearly on Team Trump's side and will lower interest rates when he gets into office and has to clean up this huge damage that these communists have done.
