how about making your work so great that you don't need to have a hat to be remembered or stand out; enjoy being around when you feel like to instead of being forced to be around every day. 🤔

I mentioned yesterday that it reminds me of a corporate job where there is some kind of fake status or award that provides no tangible benefit but everyone wants. It's given meaning by the culture.

What hat? Seriously, I hide everything right now. I'm talking about how meaningless a hat is, but I still value it. I'm trying to convince myself. Maybe valueless is going too far. It does recognize a certain commitment to SN, I guess.

Yes. Really what I have been thinking about is, I guess depending on your personality, these types of things can gain importance which is illogical, disproportionate, and maybe unhealthy. I'm suspectible to this😀
