Shouldn't Satoshi be sitting there?
reply
Satoshi is ded

Do you think thats air youre breathing?
reply
of course

I don't think he'll finish in his lifetime, though I expect more of a Robert Jordan scenario (with his notes going to someone at least capable of writing to finish it).
I do expect parts of the show will influence him - if something didn't hit (even if it had been a part of his plans), I'd imagine he'll reevaluate it.
reply
I fear he wont finish either. But that is kind of a big F u to his fanbase.
reply
What a wonderful Tv show. As a family we spent a whole summer enjoying the full series, episode after episode.
reply
It wasnt too bloody?
reply
A bit to be honest, though daughters already late teens.
reply
Some of it I think they could have toned down. How did they like it?
reply
They loved it!!
reply
even the ending?
reply
Yes. I know it is not what the author has written but ….

what are you waiting for?
Anyone ever notice when they say "send a crow" and in the next cut scene the crow is already there?
Like how the F fast are those crows flying?
reply
Very fast!
reply
I haven't seen it either sensei, we are marginalized
reply
Give it a try, you might be surprised.
reply
Yes, I should, my brother always say to me that I have to give it a try too.

Excellent show. Would love to be able to go back and watch it again for the first time.
reply
Favorite season?
reply
I can only say I have watched part of it. You think they will ever do a reboot?
reply
First 3 seasons are awesome
First season is my favorite
reply
Season 4 is cool too I think. But around there it certainly diverges more from the source material.
reply
Agree
reply
I really enjoyed the first season. With all the Starks.
reply
The first season was almost a carbon copy of the first book
reply
Yeah, it was very good.
reply
You could always try and watch it or read it.
reply
I sure hope he will finish them in his lifetime. Game of Thrones has by far been my favorite show in my life so far - and the books were even better. Hoping he can as it will be cemented into history for eternity.
reply
Yeah, I think everyone hopes so. Maybe if he split the books, it would be better. He still says he needs 500 more pages to complete the book. And he hasnt even started the last book.
reply
My guess is that, just like the show, he couldn't figure out how to land the plane on his epic story. Hopefully, he is influenced by the show to avoid the path they took.
I haven't started reading GoT, because I'm worried it won't get finished.
reply
I finished the first book. I thought it was an okay book. I didnt watch the tv show completely. I wish he would just hunker down and finish.
reply
I didn’t start watching the show until it was already several seasons in. I thought it was great until they got past what Martin had written.
reply
I think I got to the place when they melted the big sword into two small sword, then I kind of gave up on the show.
reply
Season 4 premiere after the red wedding
reply
I think I got to somewhere around there and I just kind of lost interest. I really enjoyed seeing Bron and the Hound.
reply
I feel like that was pretty early.
reply
It was only a couple seasons in. What season was when they didnt have material to go off of?
reply
That was the last two seasons, I believe.
reply
The last two seasons are not so good? Actually, I tried house of dragons and that isnt so bad.
Seasons 6 to 8
Yes! Absolutely!
Last 3 seasons were subpar Final season was awful
Benioff and Weiss were clearly done with the show before the final season. They should have passed the baton to another show runner
reply
I heard the tv show didnt end well. GRRM said he would write the ending differently.
reply
Season 8 was a huge disappointment. The show runners mailed it in
reply
Wasnt he supposed to write everything by the time they got to season 6?
reply
George gave them an outline
I've watched so much of Game of Thrones, albeit only in fragments, that I feel like I understand the plot and there's no need to watch it completely.... There's nothing wrong if an heir of literary heritage butchers it. After all it's all og his just like property and money that is left for all of us as heritage.
reply
Fun fact: GRRM grew up in NJ and is a 🛩️ jets fan
reply
I'd rather get Doors of Stone at this point.
