Remember when they were saying Palestinians can flee into Egypt anytime, so really this is all Egypt's fault? So much for that.
First of all, not true. Kerem shalom is open - so open in fact that Palestinians are firing mortars at it as there are Israeli soldiers there inspecting the trucks going in and hence are targets for Hamas.
Secondly, yes this is majorly Egypt's fault as they've completely barricaded any entry into Sinai from Gaza. So any notion of "open air prison" is due to Egypt's usage of Gazans as human pawns in its clandestine effort to destroy Israel as a sovereign Jewish state.
Third, these same "Palestinians" (in quotes because there is really no such thing as a Palestinian nation) were the ones cheering and joining Hamas terrorists when they entered Jewish settlements across the fence and murdered, burned, raped and mutilated noncombatant men, women and children on October 7. They're also the same people whose highest aspirations from childhood are killing Jews and who also deem being a 'shahid' the loftiest fate. They deserve no aid nor sympathy and the most generous proposal is to ship them out of there into Egypt or wherever else, as they've proven beyond a doubt that they're not interested in any type of peace and that they're not worthy being in the vicinity of Jews.

Egypt wasn't allowing them in, unless they paid $5k per head. About 80,000 Palestinians left to Egypt, many of them senior Hamas members and their families that got rich from all the humanitarian aid money that was sent to Gaza over the last twenty years.

I know Egypt wasn't letting them in, but Israel apologists were saying that Israel's border blockades didn't matter because there's also an Egypt border and Egypt could let aid through or people out at anytime.
The counterargument to the argument that Israel is maintaining Palestine as an open-air prison or concentration camp was that there's also an independent border with Egypt. Now there is no border access to Egypt.

The interesting thing about the open air prison thing is that it's partially true. There are many people living in extreme poverty in the Strip, but there are also many people living lifestyles beyond your wildest wet dreams. Gaza is one of the best pieces of real estate in the world. Let that sink in. The question isn't is there suffering, it's who is causing it?

In a situation that bad, there's plenty of blame to spread around.
Bibi intentionally propped up Hamas because it's politically valuable for him. Hamas intentionally puts civilians in harms way because it helps their recruiting. Both sides intentionally lie about everything when it's expedient. America's given Israel unconditional support and paid off the Arab states to stay out of it.
I'm sure there's plenty more that I missed.
