Seems like my ~science territory is up for renewal. Will probably end up paying, but was wondering if there is already a clearer timeline on the initially announced expansions (selling subterritories, etc). Maybe those developments have been pushed back due to the higher urgency of custodial vs non-custodial wallet evolution of SN? Just speculating of course.

Yep, wallets are taking priority right now. Of course if someone on the FOSS team picks it up, we'll be able to get it done sooner.

What are you thinking about? - she asked me.
Well, I’m thinking about all the things that happen in people’s lives… that pull them together or split them apart. The million little events, coincidences (really?), outside forces…
reply
Deep stuff on the mind early this morning. It really is the little things that pull us apart or push us together.
I was having a disconnection with my relationship and all she had to do was show me some extra effort and it’s like the phase was never there.

Ownership

The concept of “ownership” has its origin in Ancient Rome, and although considered simple to understand, it is not, as it involves a similar concept of possession.
Someone can be in possession of an item but it may not belong to them, and therefore a claim can be made upon the item from the rightful “owner”.
This is where ownership comes from, which is the state of “legal possession” and possible “control” over the property.
Note: just because you own something does not necessarily mean you control it.
Ownership can involve multiple rights, with different titles being applied to a person with said right, such as:
  1. Rightful owner.
  2. Registered owner.
  3. Legal owner.
  4. Legal keeper.
  5. Registered keeper.
  6. User rights.
  7. Legal title.
  8. Controlling title.
  9. Legal guardian.
  10. Equitable title.
It is this lack of understanding regarding the word ownership that has entrapped so many people in bogus contracts.
To ensure “total ownership” you need to also make claim to all titles and rights, which is often referred to as Superior title or Allodial title.
Note: Allodial title comes from the Latin word Allodium, meaning having absolute authority, control and absolute right to the property, with no claim being possible from another.
reply
Absolute truth!
Just wondering, is there a country that actually allows tk hold allodial property?
reply

wrong question
a sovereign does not need permission
reply
How? I mean. We don't ask but what about rule books. They are everywhere and if you don't follow them; you may get a slapping on your ass.
Do you mean that we break the rules or revolt against them?
reply
11 sats \ 5 replies \ @Lux 6 May
to who apply those rulebooks? and why?
Do you mean that we break the rules or revolt against them?
Learn the rules, knowledge is power
reply
To everyone living in yhe boundaries of a nation and to maintain order. Am I right?
Yes, knowledge is power. And to my knowledge I don't see a place where allodial rights are still available.
All states have some propaganda that hides the truth from people. I would achieve a true Sovereignty only if I can change my mind. And this applies to everyone.
reply
11 sats \ 3 replies \ @Lux 6 May
A man doesn't need his rights to be available, he is the source of rights, supreme authority over himself, a sovereign. If he chooses to be a slave (person, subject), nobody can stop him not even God
reply
You're right 100%. But when you practically hold this virtue of Sovereignty for yourself, this mad world comes behind you and throw stones and daggers.
But, no remorse. I will be my Supreme authority over myself. Let's face it... A life without freedom is not worth it.
Amazing and true again!
People who buy things on loan boast ownership as if they were the owners from day one. If they read this, they would be ashamed of themselves.
Or not because, they were not ashamed while buying on the fuckin' credit card.
reply
11 sats \ 7 replies \ @Lux 6 May
those who buy with cash, and don't have allodial title or MSO (manufacturer statement of origin), are not the real owners either
reply
Yes, I understand. You can only be the real owner once you can abolish all adjectives given to ownership.
Even if your father leaves a lot of property for yout isn't yours until you are bound to legal recourse. Am I right now?
reply
11 sats \ 5 replies \ @Lux 6 May
if you need to:
  • pay tax
  • ask permission/license to use
  • register...
are you the real owner?
reply
No, everything is actually state owned.
That's a sad reality and this won't change in our lives.
reply
11 sats \ 3 replies \ @Lux 6 May
you are wrong, my friend.
-you can change it if you want -the state is a tool
reply
That's the problem. Once we find the obstacle, we don't dare side it. In the case of 'this State obstacle', it's so heavy that we all need a collective effort to uproot it for forever.
If I could do it alone? I wish, I had the way? If there is a way, please enlighten.
I hate the state game.
reply
I didn't know that ownership had so many legal variants, I guess there's a lot of difference even between legal owner and rightful owner, it's hard to comprehend as you say.

Yes! One day less... :)
reply
Maybe you can redeem yourself with this question haha
-ly: in a way that ~ -less: without ~
I noticed that with ~less, I can work out the meaning of the word just by applying “without ~”. In other words, just focusing on word attack strategies.
However, with ~ly, using “in a way that ~” is not enough to infer the meaning of most -ly words. I still have to rely on contextual clues, such as reading sentences before and after the location of a -ly word in a paragraph.
Would you happen to know why some suffixes are easier to decipher than others?
reply
So my initial thought is it is entirely context driven and familiarity. So -less without or -ly more like.
I am homeless and I have no house to live in at the moment. One day I would like a homely house.
Interesting…

Thanks for your initial thoughts 💭

I don’t think there’s a why here. They are as they are. Language is a living tool that people use freely and it’s developed naturally by using it everyday. Don’t think there’s a logic behind the language constructs.

I have also asked myself these questions!
What if we really are in a "Truman Show" scenario?
After a few years of trying to figure this out I came to the conclusion that we have actually created our own version of the truman show, or the matrix. Most of us are completely unaware and oblivious to the fact that we are fed what we believe and we don't truly open our eyes to 'reality'. And, when we get close, fear is used as a way to keep us from asking questions and seeing life from our own perspectives.
Now... could it be that there is no higher power and that in fact the higher power is just us? That time is just (like money) a man made concept and in fact the past, present and future are all there at the same time? The gods/aliens etc that have been seen in the sky that we then worship, are just our future selves.
I am not very good at explaining this online - its much easier when my words flow freely through spoken conversation so if this makes no sense then please ask questions!
Most people think I am crazy when I say that time is a concept and that all is happening at the same time, that the only 'real' moment is the one that we are in right now.
A great film to illustrate this is "Interstellar"
