Man, you collect fountain pens? Do you recognize the pen I am using? It has a special type of nib. I heard it is a bit harder to get in the USA. I bought this specific one in Taiwan, they have some nice fountain pen stores there. Are you into the arco style pens?

Looks like a Sailor 1911? Arco pens are beautifully artistic. BTC keeps me from getting too crazy.
Does that nib have Rhodium plating!!
reply
Its a pilot heritage 912 with a falcon postcard nib. Its made for writing on shitty paper. 10k nib. Arco pens are very beautiful, I regret not getting the Visconti Manhattan when it first came out. I think that pen is the pinnacle of beauty. For all of you wondering what a Visconti Manhattan is, this is it.

Pilot was going to be my second guess. I have several Pilot Vanishing Points, plus swap out nib kits. I didn't know anyone here was interested. I might post a few photos

Seems like you are the only one interested haha Arco pens are becoming so expensive. I wish I had gotten into them before the price rose so much.

I think you are right. I'm one o the old dudes around here. LOL

Hey Hey Can I see your collection of pens and your thoughts on them?

Here are a few old photos of EDCs and desk riders. Some are new, some are old. My fav writing pen is the old classic Parker 51. Pilot, from Japan is also excellent.
Enjoy!

I recognize the TWSBI, pelican, pilot and parker. What is that one in the middle? I like your collection of blue ink. I am partial to mont blanc royal blue.
reply
Man, don't get me started on inks! 🤣🤣🤣

That akkerman ink bottle, is that the one with the marble that stops the ink from going down?
Seems like you are a big fan of the iroshizuku inks! I think they have beautiful inks, too.
The gold one? The inexpensive Pilot Metropolitan.

How do you like the TWSBI? I felt like it wrote too wet. What is the red one? Sailor or pilot?
