I definitely understand where you're coming from there. I've run into the sentiment of 'if I don't like it it's garbage' a lot because of my varied musical tastes, and I've never understood it!

Genres like grime, hip-hop, and stuff like that. Not my thing, that's preference, but do I recognise that the artists are talented. For sure I do.

I'll never say something like, "that was bad" or "that's shit" or whatever because objectively, those artists are very good at what they do, I just prefer something else.
