I think it's more of a 50:50. I can reduce the bet to 1k for both sides though.
Agreed it's a big drop. On the other hand, such a drop isn't unusual for exchange tokens (see FTX, CEL).
My base case, aside from the recent news, is that the ETF gang has an incentive to help cut Binance down. SEC has repeatedly cited market manipulation and exchange risk as a reason for rejecting ETF applications. And if ETF approval indeed occurs around Jan 2024, we could expect to see something big happen to Binance between now and Christmas.
I could be wrong, but decided to put my money where my mouth is. It's more fun that way!

Howdy partners! Just trying to survive my short Fiat job week. Almost there!
I only have internet via my mobile phone so i tether it to my laptop when im at home. Right now the whole setup is drawing 5w from the outlet. That seems too little. The laptop is powered, the phone is powered, the laptop screen is near 100% brightness too. And the browser is open with multiple tabs. for 5 watts it seems. I could probably produce that kind of energy with a treadmill.
I use my hamster to offset my extra electricity needs.

im 176cm and in august i hit 82kg. Decided to turn things around now im down to 67kg. The goal is try reach 59kg and if i dont look too skinny or feel weak i will try and keep that weight. For maximum nimbleness? Have a nice day

I honestly donβt know. There is more and I have a draft, Iβm just not that happy with it past this point.
I am also working on a short story, not Bitcoin related, but certainly a critique of traditional economics and the people Government leaves in its wake.
I'm looking forward to reading what you have. I have been bouncing around the idea of actual bitcoin fiction. I'm only at the character stage. No serious, philosophical stuff. I just think that there have been very interesting characters in the space. I'm not sure if it's the chicken or the egg that creates these people.

That's pretty fancy. I admire your patience. I got a fountain pen as a gift a long, long time ago. I still have it, but actually using it drove me crazy.
Hehe, maybe you got a more advanced pen than me, or you have a different way of writing. I got myself a Lamy al star, built like a tank and will outlive me, writes easily.

Yes, the feeling, the process and the break from a digital lifestyle does a lot for me.
I've tried it digitally but it just does not pack the same punch.
And the interruptions on your phone / computer interrupt the flow. I would rather have those 15 minutes in my own world and with my own thoughts and reflections.

What if a healthier way of living is having one place somewhere more convenient, where you can easily access everything; And having one more remote place where close to nature, far from the crowd and noise, for isolation and deep focus?
That's the dream, but today that would be considered an expensive dream.
That's like the old dream of New Yorkers having a city apartment and a weekend place up in the mountains. Not many can afford that anymore.

Living off-grid is my dream, but buying a plot is expensive. Who knows, I might be able to use my stash as collateral in the future to buy a plot. This would be better than selling a deflationary asset like Bitcoin.

Deflationary is defined as a reduction of the supply of money in an economy. In this case, a reduction of the supply of Bitcoin in the economy. The code might have it at a fixed supply but because people loses access to their Bitcoin, the supply gets reduced. It might not be a lot but by this nature it's deflationary.
