Corporate steakhouses are the best. They are my default when I want to have a nice dinner with someone. Consistent and predictable with something for everyone.
They are like a fancy version of a diner, which is my default when I want to have a casual dinner with many people.

Good morning everyone!!! The weekend is here and what a beautiful day indeed, sun is shinning, the temperature is right on point, a gorgeous day indeed. Time to relax, to reflect about our last week and find where we were lacking and see how we can improve, this game we called life is just that, a game. So let's play our best, we can change the way we play it if we aren't getting the desired results, it's basically YOUR game. For example, my hot cup of java right now is a tad bitter, I can either choose to add sugar or let the bitterness ruin my breakfast. Since I do like it more sweet, I'll add sugar, because it's the way I like it not anyone else. If someone says that it will ruin the coffee if I add sugar then that is their game, but not mine. See where I'm getting at? Just the first analogy it came up, but it's something like that. I wish you an incredible weekend, play YOUR game, enjoy it, live it. You're important and never forget that, you matter and you're awesome!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you for being. May your day be filled with love and success, be well and stay frosty my good friend!!

Related to this comment but it's in the saloon from yesterday, so I'll post this here:
Okay, I start to feel like an archaeologist and now I understand more what's so interesting about being an archaelogist:
I think I just found the first version of ranking on SN in 84b69fc:
$ git show 84b69fc:api/resolvers/item.js | grep Query -A 8 Query: { items: async (parent, args, { models }) => { return await models.$queryRaw(` ${SELECT} FROM "Item" ${LEFT_JOIN_SATS} WHERE "parentId" IS NULL ${ORDER_BY_SATS}`) }, $ git show 84b69fc:api/resolvers/item.js | tail -2 const ORDER_BY_SATS = 'ORDER BY (x.sats-1)/POWER(EXTRACT(EPOCH FROM ((NOW() AT TIME ZONE \'UTC\') - "Item".created_at))/3600+2, 1.5) DESC NULLS LAST'
@k00b, can you confirm or deny?
edit: lol, the feature to search through commits for specific changes like Query or rank or trust is even called pickaxe. So there is even a direct relationship to archaelogy? But not sure if archaelogists really use pickaxes a lot or if at all, lol

That is indeed it

the government will retreat into the digital realm in order to prolong its life.
crime is kind of a mind fuck. we think crime doesent happen because there is a government, but crime does happen, while there is a government, but as the government retreats from IRL the crime will increase, criminals will become emboldened, but its just a coincidence. the real cause of crime is poorly understood.
reply
what is poorly understood is the law itself, at ones own peril
reply
Crime is defined by laws and laws are made by governments
mentioning Natural Law for @DarthCoin
reply
Where you position yourself and those gov "laws" in this scheme?
reply
governments don't create laws, they write terms and conditions
reply
The legislative creates laws
No?
reply
They make statutes. Does the Facebook/McDonalds/Amazon legal department create laws? It's also called color of law. A video, it's one hour and emotionally charged, but very informational: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQ6hNr8F7jE

You serving something tempting for dinner?
reply
It's morning here, and I'm just drinking coffee. My picky cat doesn't care for the type of food I gave him this morning, so he's hopeful I may eat something he can "share".
reply
I thought he might just be setting his stall out early. With a dog you are in-charge and they take commands… with a cat they lull you into a false sense of security by being mildly obedient and do exactly what they want anyway…
reply
I have owned many of both species throughout my life. I have two oddballs now. The cat is a Siamese. They have a reputation of being dog like. He actually listens to me. The dog, on the other hand, is deaf and autistic.
