Ok so @sn and @k00b I was reading the (missed) RoundTable #1. Very good initiative to bring specialized people to discuss hot topics on SN. We should have more of these. I just want to zap the answers that explain better the questions because are giving me the right answers or more logical.
Can we have the #2 about specific BIPs?
Can we have answers only from people invited to answer those questions ? I saw in the #1 other people trying to sneak in and giving their "opinion" without being on the table.
I understand that these roundtables are like: sn is asking some specific questions about topic and invitees are answering. Otherwise we can have a mess there, and not clear answers, even starting useless debates.
Tagging @kr because he'll be organizing the next one. We have a set of things we already want to try next time, but these suggestions are helpful.
It'd probably be extra helpful to come with roundtable topics along with guests for the topics.

Has anyone written any good songs about Bitcoin? I’ve been wondering why some of these bitcoin only companies aren’t paying rappers or artists to incorporate bitcoin education into their music somehow.
Think about this. If strike or cashapp partners with a rapper to incorporate it in, and they then post their LN address as the album art cover. Plebs would donate left and right, incentivizing the promotion of bitcoin over the fiat shitpaper.

Here's what I do, which helps with both fiction and non-fiction:
Make simple declarative statements that tell the truth. Absolutely no ornament, just statements of fact, as best you understand them. You will find, in so doing, that most of the bullshit in your writing boils away. You'll also probably discover that you don't understand what you want to say nearly as well as you thought you did.
After you do this for a bit, you can start adding in the artfulness and phrasing. But the skeleton is declarative statements of fact.
It's interesting that this seems to deal with the "full of shit" problem and also the "boring" problem at the same time.

I kinda give up on posting on nostr. Iris and Snort are kind of useless now, do not connect to any relay. Using Onyx on mobile is the only one that still works nice for me, but I do not like to use mobile for this kind of stuff.
Also not so interesting stuff posted on nostr. SN is much better to consume information.
Nevertheless, nostr market is very interesting for me.
This is a really interesting observation. I have experienced the same thing with my usage. That is, I tend to gravitate towards SN over nostr. That's different from what I expected because I used to gravitate more towards Twitter than Reddit in the past. Thoughts?
SN's reddit-ness i think is what makes it click -- content is free flowing, letting its free market determine value and what others should be looking at, rather than relying on algorithms.
You're virtually invisible to start without a following on Twitter/nostr, whereas here it's a level playing field.
I agree. Primal on desktop works pretty well for me, but the content isn't that interesting. SN is much more informative and fun. I'm still optimistic about nostr in the long run.
Also, I am not sure if it is the nature of social media integrated like an ego game? With all the numbers and likes, is it meant to be designed for people complete for eyeballs?

I will agree with you here, there is a lot of value in SN, the pace is more align with me. In the socials network on top of the protocol nostr, there is more "instant" and "news" topic.
