it eventually cleared, but the whole thing still leaves me not wanting her to come visit. sucks, but it's better to avoid a large headache trying to get a nightmare to leave, than to have this afore the entire thing.

That's what I'd ultimately decided, after praying about the matter, during yesterday and in the evening before bed. It was all a pipe dream, and was never going to be a thing. It'd have just been "I need more money because this went wrong, etc - " untoward seeing how far one was willing to go.
an hour ago I politely told her off, and closed the chat.
