In my whole year of crypto journey, I must say it has been adventurous with dodging sharks here and there. I have been burnt quite a few time but I would say that is part of the whole well-informed journey of crypto dealings. And In all my dealings I have only met men both physically and online who are so passionate about anything Bitcoin or cryptocurrency.

My wife whom I tried all my best to show what the benefits could be in cryptocurrency and bitcoin prefer to stay away from it as long as it not fiat that you can hold in your hands or transact with digitally.

The men I have met in this crypto journey said the same or almost the same about their wives or girlfriends. The disinterest in Bitcoin and crypto by the female gender is something worth study. I am actually talking about the women we have here in Nigeria. I didn't have data on any other place or region.

However, to my pleasant surprise, I was at the Barber's shop waiting to be attended to and discussing crypto investment with a friend of mine. This woman who brought her kids to barb was seated in the shop and was listening to our discussion but she never contributed.

It was after my friend let that she excitedly called my attention I said she's also in crypto and she has been doing àlot of airdrops and HODLING and some other stuff. I was taken aback and surprised at the same time. For me, this is one needle in haystack. When I had already closed off my mind to ever finding a female into crypto, here is this mother of two talking about her journey like a happy little kid.

We discussed at length and shared ideas. I even learnt one or two things from her. But it is funny how it was her own husband who is avoiding anything that has to do with Bitcoin. The man saw it as a complete scam while the wife was busy making money off the tokens she has been gathering in her airdrop journeys.

Anyway, I was pleasantly glad I met at least one woman in my whole year in this journey. I know there may be several of them out there but I doubt their numbers will be close to that of men into crypto generally.

Do you have the same situation in your country? Or area? Which demographic do you think doesn't see the need to be knowledgeable in the Bitcoin of thing where you are from? Thank you in advance for the replies.
