At the bottom is a link for chat, but it has only sphinx and telegram.
Might it make sense for there be a chat page added to the site? Nothing fancy, just a simple public chat. Maybe no cost (unlike stacker.news), but not sure if that would help or hurt.
The use of the chat would be for kind of the same thing that this daily discussion thread holds, but in chat format (i.e., not threads, which some are more comfortable with or more familiar with).

Actually, was curious about what about someone new who created and account, and then has no free comments left. Maybe they'ld like to post a question here in the daily discussion thread. But it won't let them, without sats.
So maybe make it so comments in here will not be prevented based on your balance not being sufficient. Or direct them to the chat I proposed, if they are trying to comment and have no sats.

Great Saturday so far...working on SNL mixing and SNL video uploads...also recorded with the Bittersweet podcast this morning...gotta get that post production after SNL...full day for Car!

I'm studying soundproofing materials in an effort to create a window plug for my bedroom that prevents my neighbor's AirBnB guests from waking me up at all hours of the night.
It looks like MDF + mineral wool insulation is the way to go.

I honestly believe the U.S has the most to gain when it comes to adopting BTC. Can you imagine what that would look like? We setup mining facilities in each state and distribute the profits on an open ledger directly supporting infrastructure. The mining would stabilize the energy grid, and we begin to adopt nuclear. BTC becomes legal tender and if taxes are still required, we see exactly where the funds go. Every American has a bitcoin node next to their router, acting as a personal server protecting their data/privacy/savings. Every American family has a mining setup in their home using stratum v5. We all monetize our data through social sites like zion and stacker News. Mainstream media dies, creators and contributors are directly connected to their fans without intermediaries. Content becomes extremely profitable, Being a well routed node becomes nicely profitable. We incorporate the bitcoin ethos into the American ideal, and tell our kids "if you work hard save your money you can accomplish almost anything you put your mind to, now that being said don't trust verify."

Sorry for the nonchalant question: what kinds of posts do you envision for SN? Most posts here are Links to articles. But the most traction are discussions - just talking about topics.
I tipped my toes into the later kind of posts and it interests me more too since a list of links is just like a curated RSS feed.

Yeah I meant to mention I really like the discussions. That's where most of the value is IMO - a smart back and forth which you can't really do on twitter.
