Actually, was curious about what about someone new who created and account, and then has no free comments left.   Maybe they'ld like to post a question here in the daily discussion thread.  But it won't let them, without sats. 

So maybe make it so comments in here will not be prevented based on your balance not being sufficient.   Or direct them to the chat I proposed, if they are trying to comment and have no sats.

At the bottom is a link for chat, but it has only sphinx and telegram. 

Might it make sense for there be a chat page added to the site?   Nothing fancy, just a simple public chat.  Maybe no cost (unlike stacker.news), but not sure if that would help or hurt.    

The use of the chat would be for kind of the same thing that this daily discussion thread holds, but in chat format (i.e., not threads, which some are more comfortable with or more familiar with).
