Most Nostr clients are a whole different beast than SN. SN is a discussion forum! Is there anything like that on Nostr?
I try to keep a tab on them:
A forum is mostly thought of as a visual format though. I prefer the abstract framing of a commons and the nostr analogy for that is the global feed. So, nearly all nostr clients have that.

While I'm feeling myself, what we're trying to do with SN:
- scale a digital commons using money and simple rules
- if (1) is not retarded, make it autonomous
it was just an example - a poor one and you're right. But what I mean is that the willingness for people to be the paying party, especially when you shift it down, can become painful if there is any alternative that may provide similar perceived benefits, without the cost.
It sounds circular until people find out they always paying, never earning, and then they move on to nostr.
