My first job here in Brazil was with a company that provided services for Bayer. It's funny that many of the products that were banned from sale and marketing in Europe were sold here in Latin America without any problems.
I found here an Excel file with a summary of one of the clients I used to work with.
Yes, most of them are insecticides, and it's common for either the product itself to be banned or part of the product's base to be banned because it contains a prohibited ingredient.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that many genetically modified seeds cannot be used for replanting.
