Yeah, I agree, maybe there's a better icon. We use [remixicon](https://remixicon.com/) for our icons. Is in there an icon that stands out to you for this use case?

The button disables **live updates to comments** globally, not only when composing!
Is there a need for an option that disables live comments **only** when composing?

About the state, maybe flipping the logic can be more intuitive.

I just realized that a good way to test this is a light/dark mode. You instantly see the logic.

But my original comment was about the look of the icon itself — for me it’s rather associated with enabling/disabling comments than with “do not disturb while I’m composing” mode, or what @optimism (very precisely in my opinion) described as “zen mode”.
