I love the idea of shopstr, and I'm curious whether there are plans to implement drop shipment reseller stuff like that available on shopify?
I imagine it will take a while for a bitcoin supply chain to develop, so having this option may really kickstart bitcoin adoption by offering a wider range of products.
I guess I should specifically address the question to @calvadev or maybe even @Car?
Had Cal on Early Days definitely check it out here we talk about where the product is going. #866944
During Top Builder 2025 we had him focus on bringing it to Start 9 to really lean in on the decentralized aspects of Shopstr, then allowing/freeing him to make an actual proper business product.
As a founder he looks at Nostr differently than anyone I’ve met. Known him for about 2 years now incredibly bullish on Shopstr, need to reach out to him but I’ve been busy with Startup School and Startup Day.
Not sure if will do Top Builder again this year but I know that all the 60+ founders that have come through in 24 & 25 got leveled up PlebLab style. ✌️
I never used this site. It wasn’t Mobile friendly
Limited funding does that.
The idea is fantastic. I was playing around, attempting to buy something through primal, and I must admit it is not a smooth experience - yet. It's an ambitious thing to try, though. I will keep watching.
I think all of nostr suffers from the same problem. It's cool tech and the focus is always the cool tech. The focus is never the user experience. The result is websites usable only on a fiber connection.
From absolute ignorance, should't also be usable as a P2P exchange as is?

It will take 30-40 years for people to realize that Bitcoin is actually useful (i.e., indispensable).
By then, there will be so few Bitcoins "free" that the price will be horrible (mining is expensive, and there will be few Bitcoins left because of the halvings, and by then, the holders will have bought up and held almost everything)
