we have a few large development things going on atm, but once they're over reducing the product complexity is what I'll be primarily focused on.
Perhaps it is overly complex, I'm receptive to the idea, sure. But it does in some sense point back to a frustration I get with ux guys insisting that their users are stupid and must be placated. It feels good to earn rewards from a relatively complex thing.

Yes, we can expect people to have a higher tolerance for complexity given they’re sometimes rewarded. But, it’s safe to assume that people don’t want complexity where it doesn’t serve a purpose.
