pull down to refresh

Today was one of the best days I've had in a while. We had a long family outing, so lots of steps and sunshine and fresh air. I ate very well. No junk food at all. The only snacks I had were organic dark chocolate dipped in hodl butter.
Things to keep working on: I didn't sleep great (blame the Stanley Cup going to OT) and I didn't stick to my eating window.
How about you stackers? Let's here your ~HealthAndFitness triumphs and pitfalls.

I had four double sliders and a couple latkas. It’s our special “takeout day.” I did manage to only eat that one meal. Been on OMAD for a month or so and enjoying it. IMO most surprising benefit of OMAD is lower body temperature pre-meal which is easy to appreciate in a warm climate like Texas.

I had never heard that body temperature thing. It's about to get hot here, so maybe I'll try to shift towards OMAD.

At least for me, it's very noticeable on my walks home when it's 90F or so. When I haven't eaten it feels more like 80F.

Looking forward to that effect

Typing this late again. Tiring day today because it was hot and I had to go to 3 different job sites all over the place to work on various small things on each of them. Got paid today though, so that's a good thing. Did more driving around after dinner to buy a manga set for my kids from some dude and also went grocery shopping. I need to go to bed. Planning to wake up early tomorrow morning for the Sunday long run.
Today's stats:
  • 150 push ups (3 sets of 50)
  • 15 minutes of box steps with no additional weight, just body weight (want to save my legs for tomorrow's long run)
  • cold shower
  • 13934 steps

I thought I finally had more steps than you, but I came up just short.
