i dont think this onion routing is live yet in bolt12. offers do not seem to not hide my CLN lightning node.
is the node blinding part still not a thing in bolt12? i paid an offer from my coinOS wallet to my CLN node, and my CLN node's public alias name was displayed to indicate who was receiving the sats. isnt that supposed to be hidden or something by the onion routing/ blinded paths?
the amount they steal from us each term is only up and to the right from here, as they continually need more dollars to fund their grifts due to interest on debt eating the value before they get it. for this reason, i dont care who is in charge, i just care about stacking ways to opt out, which obv includes btc
what about a backup receive option? in case the first option is unreachable at that moment for whatever reason.
it did not for me, had to buy a visa gift card with corn and use that. but its name your price so might be a way to pay $0, then donate btc to the film creators 🤙
the problem is the risk for the mint, as i see it, of running an ecash for its darknet store. yes, the customers' funds would be very difficult to track what purchases they made, but the mint still needs to serve as the clearing house from their ecash to lightning...so that would be very risky.
i dont have a single friend that doesnt either work for the gov, have a job subdidized by the gov, work in an industry propped up by the gov, or works for a consultancy that mainly contracts with the gov. i think the bloat is far worse than this indicates, and cutting into some of these useless parts of the gov will have more extreme 2nd and 3rd order effects than can realistically be anticipated.
