now that stacker news ln address is non-custodial, are there any limits on sats i can have sent to my stacker news ln address ( outside of the receiving node's limitations such as inbound liquidity)?

No limits. Make sure you've enabled one of those two settings if you don't want CCs:

SN LN address is NOT self-custodial. In fact now is just a converter of sats into CCs.
I will suggest to not use it for anything than if you want to receive CCs in SN.

There is a setting that will forward to your wallet.
