I completely agree with private entities deciding how their services are used, but I don't like the coordination with government to censor information.
It reminds me of government entities purchasing metadata from cellular carriers to avoid warrant requirements. It's an end around to bypass the rules that are supposed to prevent governments from violating our rights.
Sovereignty. I can't control the reckless spending of governments, but Bitcoin allows me to protect some of the fruits of my labor from being stolen by devaluation.
It seems that decentralization is the best shot at protecting from the increasing infringment of privacy that the digital age has spawned. I'm grateful there are talented people much smarter than me that are building solutions to these problems.

You could get the Start9 Embassy One. It's an appliance that provides a web-based GUI you could access from your Windows PC.
All three let you run Bitcoin and Lightning nodes along with other apps you install from an app store.
Our relationship with technology is more immediate, and elements we rely upon everyday are usually represented in lowercase: fire, electricity, cars, lightbulbs, computers, phones, internet, email, tweets. All these discoveries and inventions were new at one point but reached a critical mass of adoption to make them a regular part of everyday communications. We believe bitcoin is at this inflection point.
I agree with the other examples. but I still capitalize the Internet. I think I'll keep using Bitcoin when referring to the network.
