This is one of the most exciting projects in the freedom tech space
Do you have an internet connection? You can sell it for sats on a time or packet driven basis
The buyer (who is offline) simply pastes a cashu (ecash) token into the captive portal. The portal claims the bitcoin, then provides the (vpn protected) access.
In a future where internet connections are KYC'd or otherwise difficult to get (ie, require a sim card to dox your location) it's great to see tools that allow end users to easily get online.

Does this make sense?

By "Drag" I mean the fact that you can click on the bottom right of the cell and "drag" the formula down. This will update the cell references accordingly and display the corresponding values.
Here is a copy of the spreadsheet: https://paste.nostrdev.com/?d557826675410582#BBFDzTe8txYBzY9xhHNfiNvRNtPVZr4kvVACPCrnNfdN
The formula works for the case you describe - see below (also I fixed the range element, is now
$A:$D
)Or are you saying there can be multiple lines for the same combination of ID and Service?
In which case you would like to sum the Data column?
If you can modify the sheet with your data, I would recommend creating a new column which concatenates ID and SERVICE (but with a delimiter to prevent false lookups)
Then you can use this to generate a simple VLOOKUP, eg:
For those who aren't familiar - the use of the
$
sign means that the formula will "stick" to that column (or row) when dragging a formula along or down. For most self-custodial lightning wallets, every new channel is a separate thing (so a big lightning payment would have to be split into multiple smaller ones depending on each channels capacity)
With splicing, you can increase or decrease a single channel with each on-chain tx
This means you can always spend your entire balance (more or less) in one payment.
For noobs I would stick with custodial, the following are pretty solid:
- Fedi
- Wallet of Satoshi
- Coin OS
For larger (onchain) amounts, Phoenix, due to their splicing feature
How can we support this project? https://github.com/blackcoffeexbt/hardware-nostr-connect-device
It's literally the most exciting thing in Nostr
Mullvad is a great browser, especially as a default browser (for opening links) as it will clear all cookies / local storage every time you close it down. So it's ideal for random browsing.
Every time you open, it is like a fresh browser. It also brings a whole load of extra protections from the Tor project (such as reduced fingerprinting).
For sites you visit a lot, and want to stay signed in (like stacker news) then you should use a regular browser. Also some sites won't work, due to all the tracking protections.
Thanks for the mention :-)
The product basically works right now, but we would like to do more user testing and get more feedback before doing a full launch (it's in Beta right now)
Upcoming features include the squiggle (drawing of a signature) and opentimestamps integration
We concur! It's not about shoehorning something onto Nostr, but rather, building a BETTER (more private and secure) solution than legacy providers.
