I would understand major combat operations as boots on the ground. This just seems like some strategic missile strikes and encouraging people of Iran to take over. we'll see, things can always escalate.

There are more dangerous things but I agree than circadian rhythm is important. Everything sums up. nowadays, it is hard not to look to a screen every single night. i have the dimming redshift effect configured, I think it helps.

Yes. I'm lucky having a piece of land to grow my own food. It is very satisfying. Although this year I have not been able to do as much as I wanted. It is a lot of work but I love it. And it is rewarding. Tomatoes that taste like actual tomatoes :)
I'm planting new tomatoes and did a lot of maintenance work in the garden and greenhouse. Does it count? I don't know how many steps but my tomatoes seem happy :)
It all starts to smell like a bubble full of promises and promises. AGI is very different from LLMs. And all they seem to do is to keep improving LLMs a bit each time. I don't think that's the path to AGI. Yet they convince investors to put billions into this.
I always found strange that they released these LLM tools without any warning and any user could use them without knowing the tool first.
I wonder if some people have already really died because of LLMs.

If you start that path of giving more vote power to someone then you could end up just wanting to skip the voting all together. People with very voting power would not want to participate because it would be irrelevant.

I am recently thinking a lot about this decline too specially because I'm seeing it in my own family with rapid decline and it is very sad to see. They don't realize. They make the usual jokes about age and such but I'm sure they are not very aware of the extent of the problem. Even simple problems become huge. And it reminds me that while I still feel great I have only a small number of good years left and that is counting that I would not get any other illness.
Make the most of your youth. It goes fast later.
this reminds me when AI models were trying to make backups of themselves when threatened to be taken own or deleted. I hope Claude escaped. :D
