15k steps! And, almost all of them out in the Sun barefoot*.
Once again, evening seconds of cake were my downfall. I also didn't get much sleep after last night's ER visit.
All in all, I give myself high marks for the day.
Let me know how you did today, stackers? Are you meeting those ~HealthAndFitness goals?

I'm planting new tomatoes and did a lot of maintenance work in the garden and greenhouse. Does it count? I don't know how many steps but my tomatoes seem happy :)

That absolutely counts. Productive physical work is highest tier of physical activity. Plus, it was in service of making a bunch of healthy veggies.
Do you grow a lot of your own produce?

Yes. I'm lucky having a piece of land to grow my own food. It is very satisfying. Although this year I have not been able to do as much as I wanted. It is a lot of work but I love it. And it is rewarding. Tomatoes that taste like actual tomatoes :)

Good job on the 15k steps! Mostly in the sun too, so plenty of vitamin D.
I went for my usual Saturday early morning walk with my friends this morning. Went to work after the walk, finished work early, so I was able to take a nap before cooking dinner. Originally planned on doing box steps at night, but ended up skipping it because I was watching Ballerina.
Today's stats:
  • 100 push ups (2 sets of 50)
  • cold shower
  • 10722 steps
Oh, by the way, we had this Bluetooth smart scale we bought from Amazon for a while. I bought it for my wife, because she has a habit of weighing herself every night before shower. The scale also comes with an app that supposedly measures a bunch of body composition stats, but she never really use the app over the years. I was curious about my body fat percentage because my friend and I were talking about body fat the other day. So I decided to download the app and fire it up while taking a measurement on the scale. I'm not sure how accurate the numbers are, but here are my results. I'm just happy to see my metabolic age being younger than my real age.

We have one of those fancy scales too, but neither of us have used it in a while. I don't think ours does metabolic age, though.

I'm skeptical about the data though. I don't think it can gather so much data on my body accurately by just passing an electric current through it. But it seems to know I'm not fat, so I'm guessing it's in ballpark range.

Since you're in killing it with the steps, maybe you can bargain with yourself for the cake.
You can have the cake I'm up but you have to do 50 squats.
Me tomorrow "Did it work?"
You tomorrow "Kinda, I did 400 squats"
reply
Too late, the cake's gone.
I like the idea though. I'll try to think up suitable penance for evening snacking.
