Oh you have stumped me. I mean it’s clearly you know, not cool
Yeah definitely still hard to grasp at times. It sits squarely in a domain that I have no connection to. But I get to be around people arguing about the minutia of bitcoin all the time and through this I am able to get in touch with the issues at the core
thank you, great Qs let’s get into it
- I did find it hard to understand. I had it give up a lot of flaky, misguided concepts. I have never encountered something like bitcoin, or anything that made me think critically about the monetary system.
- I did have someone help me - @bitcoinplebdev is great at explaining things. I went to podcasts to learn a lot, dipped into the academic research on bitcoin but found it lacking. Then I was able to meet a lot of bitcoiners too and go to meetups and stuff like that.
- Yep, completely
- not particularly, but I’ve seen the movies. Should I read the books?
Better memes. Be like @darthcoin when it comes to memes.
Hehe the dishes and the laundry for sure, noticing, appreciating and encouraging beauty and growth, yeah standard stuff
No I wouldn’t say so. I also work with @niftynei so we can bond if it ever feels that way
oh it was really exciting, I felt like I had discovered the moon. (I used a bunch of astronaut imagery on that first one)
I have been really engaged by the amount of artists and writers who display their talents here. I think we can do more to get in front of people, and this is what i took away from the Tabconf reports.
such judgement smh
One time a friend surprise me with a cute stuffed pig toy. It was on my desk at the beginning of the school day. People at school hadn't really been kind that year so it was extra touching.
I had a wish and my mother granted :) I got an espresso machine and it rules
gave up dumb, heartless and mindless fiat bosses to have a boss that's not a boss. I was doing plant care but I was in pleb lab doing anything I could (like painting the walls). So the more i got interested in SN, the more evident the path became
I still have a plant job that's very part time which I really love. so kinda best of worlds
i found the plebs to be super welcoming - and at the same time i didn't expect them to be welcoming. so i think my lack of expectation helped me see when i was welcome and when i wasn't - which helped me see where i could contribute
Because it’s not a time limit like I’m not an outsider dropping in and no one asked me to do it and I know those things are on a schedule so didnt want to f with it
