We are counting down the best ballparks in MLB throughout the 2025 season.
Here is last week's edition #988502.
This week we have #18.
Kaufmann Stadium- Kansas City Royals
Opened: 1973
Capacity: 37,903
A Classic MLB stadium. The coolest features have to be the crown scoreboard and the water features in CF. This was the only baseball only MLB stadium built between 1966 and 1991, so it is definitely unique in comparison to other multisport stadiums of that era. Looks like a great place to watch a ball game but some people complain about its outdated design and lack of modern amenities. The Royals are trying to build a new stadium but looking for public funds so that could take awhile to play out, which means we get to see ball games at Kaufmann at least for a few more years.
On to number #17 next week.
Sats for all,
