I've been settled in with the Bitaxe Gamma for a while now, and thought I would share some numbers on how it's been performing.
Best difficulty so far is 34 million, which I think is quite good for a bitaxe, keen to hear what difficulties others are putting up.
I usually switch it on in the morning and run it till maybe 4, it's super quiet though, which I like. On this schedule, it averages about 27 - 30 shares submitted.
On ocean pool, I seem to get about 40-60 sats per day
Now, apparently, you can get a daily payout if you run a lightning node or something, but since I don't and haven't gone down the rabbit hole there, I'll just have to wait 66 years for my payout.
So at this point, I just look at it as a little bit of fun and being part of the network, but if anyone actually wants to make sats daily in an easy way, assmilking on SN or just listening to podcasts on Fountain app is a far more reliable method

I prefer to lotto mine. 40-60 sats.. can get more through shitposting..

I'm in a similar boat. At some point, I'll either get more hashers or figure out the lightning payouts, but I'm not in a hurry to do so.
I like that the new bitaxe updates added target temperature. That was the main thing I had to worry about.

Maybe I should start a service here on SN, I give you my bolt 12 info and just zap you the sats on SN that I get from your miner.
Is it the signing of the bolt 12 offer that has kept you from setting it up?
reply
Basically, it's just that my lightning node is an Alby Hub, which doesn't support bolt 12, and I've been too lazy to set up something that does support bolt 12.
I also am planning on getting a HeatBit this winter, so I'll be contributing a lot more hash and shouldn't have to wait nearly as long for a payout.

aaaweeeesome.
Same plan over here, just gotta figure out the trixy little thing called transpooorting

Where are you planning to buy the HeatBit from? My miners keep my rooms pretty warm, too warm in the non-winter months honestly.
reply
I was just going to buy it from the company's site.
In the summer, I'll put it in the basement and keep it on low. That should have a pretty minimal impact on the overall heat in the house.

It wasn't too difficult setting up bolt12 on Coinos. You also learn about signing on chain addresses in the process.

This is what I see from my Bitaxe Ultra regarding difficulty:

Are you connected to Coinos Bolt12 with your ocean? Here's my stats so far. Been running for maybe a few months now
