I actually just started this account because I got back from a trip and was logged out and couldn't get back into my old one haha. Maybe you could help me?
That's the thing I'm almost positive I used my Alby/Nostr account and when I was trying to log in it just kept trying to create this new account. I'm mostly quiet anyway so it's not that big a deal I'm just confused mostly haha
In order to reject one of them you're using for this account (which as I understood is newly generated) - go to your profile and check which of auth methods buttons is linked (unlink button) associated with this one
It says "unlink nostr". But when I was trying to login with nostr, it was looking for an extension and would open alby so that's what I used to log in. When I click on my npub in my profile under this new account it takes me to my artilekt nostr account. ??
You used Nostr for creating the current account (Nostr can get a little complicated because it requires a particular browser plugin for signing transactions which availability can differ depending on device)
Going back to retrieving access your old SN account - you definitely used another auth method (lightning, email, etc) for creating it so you need to remember which was it.

It depends what authentication method you used for creating and logging to it

Those are two different auth methods:
Alby - via lightning
Nostr - via Nostr
