Also. Telegram is a hacked together app using home-grown crypto. It is not respected by the cryptographers. Additionally it is not encrypted by default. I wouldn't mention it in the same sentence as Signal.
SimpleX is comparable to Signal. Even WhatsApp is, but if you ask me WhatsApp is the deep state compromised app due to its closed source.

Some of it yes. Gathering of information is the only other real currency to sell. Some are really good at it.
